Why rent ski clothing?
Renting ski gear online gives you the opportunity to have a new, up-to-date, high quality ski outfit from the best brands every season. It also saves a lot of money compared to an expensive purchase of high-quality and warm ski gear, which you may end up using only once or twice a year. Especially as a beginner or occasional skier you can try out whether skiing is something for you. You also save a lot of time when packing your suitcases at home. You can also save on borrowing ski equipment at the ski resort. If you rent your ski clothing online, the package will be ready for you when you arrive at your hotel. After your winter holiday you can simply send your ski gear back to us. So you don't have to bring your ski outfit for cleaning and of course your wardrobe is also happy about the additional free space for other clothes.
How does our rental work?
In our online shop you will find a selection of visually appealing, functional, high-quality and reliably warm ski and snowboard clothing for young and old. Our products are the latest branded skiwear in a quality-tested and professionally cleaned condition. Simply choose your desired outfit, choose your suitable size and the desired rental period. You only need to choose the period of your winter holiday on the slopes. We plan the delivery time before and after the rental, of course you don't have to pay these days.
When will I receive my order?
Depending on availability, we will always ship your order on time several days before the start of the rental period. You will receive your parcel guaranteed until the day before the first rental day at the latest. In order for this to work, you must place your order with us at least 3 days in advance. The sooner you book, the better it is for us to plan your rental. We need this time to pack your ski outfit set or individual items securely and deliver them to your holiday destination or your home. For very short-term orders of less than 3 days, we also offer an express delivery option (1-2 days delivery time). Just get in touch with us. Example: If you order until Wednesday 20:00 o'clock for Saturday, you get the package in any case still on Friday within Germany and Austria by express delivery.
Can I have my parcel delivered directly to my holiday destination?
Yes, we currently deliver within Germany and Austria. On request we can also deliver to France, Sweden and other destinations of your choice. Simply state the complete delivery address of your hotel, apartment or holiday home when placing your order and inform the recipient on the spot about the forthcoming delivery. We will then deliver to the delivery address you specify.
How long can I rent the ski equipment?
You can rent our ski equipment for a minimum rental period of 3 days. Whether you are planning a spontaneous weekend trip with friends or colleagues or a relaxing winter holiday with your family, you can rent your ski gear as long as you like.
How can I cancel an order with rented ski equipment?
In case of cancellation of your rented ski equipment, the following cancellation conditions apply:
- a cancellation up to seven calendar days before the start of the rental is free of charge
- a cancellation less than seven calendar days before the start of the rental period is 100% of the total amount due.
How long can I keep the rented items in the end?
You can use the rented ski equipment until the last rental day of your chosen rental period and give it full throttle again on the slope. On the day after the end of the rental period by noon at the latest, however, you must return the package with the ski equipment to the post office and send it back to us. Use the enclosed shipping label. If you have arranged a collection by UPS, the package will be picked up in the morning on the following day after the end of the rental period and must therefore be ready for collection.
Can I extend the rental period in between?
Yes, you can. If you would like to rent your ski equipment for a few more days, simply send us a message so that we can be informed and check if the equipment is still available. For each additional rental day, we will only charge you the rental price based on the total number of rental days. If you would like to rent your ski equipment for a much longer period of time, we also offer you a seasonal rental during or after your rental period (from 30 days rental period).
Is there also the possibility of a seasonal rental?
Yes, of course. You can also rent your ski and snowboard clothing for longer periods. If you would like to rent our ski equipment for a longer rental period such as 30 days, 60 days or the whole winter, we will make you an individual offer. Just write us when you would like to have which ski outfit.
How do I find my size?
We have put together a list of how you can measure your optimal dress size in the size information. You will also find a size table for each manufacturer, which will give you a good indication. In the article details we also give you a personal recommendation as an indication of how the garment will look like. If the size you are looking for is not selectable at the moment, simply contact us. Perhaps we still have an identical or comparable piece there.
What happens if the delivered items don't fit me?
Ski things usually always have a little space so that you can, for example, wear suitable functional clothing or a hoody underneath. Should the ski jacket or ski pants turn out to be too small or too big when trying them on, just write us a message or call us. If time permits, we will find a way to send you a suitable piece as soon as possible. If we have the right ski items in the right size and can still deliver them on time, you can simply exchange them. This service is free of charge for you.
What do I have to do if a clothing item gets damaged or dirty?
We check all items before shipping and place great importance to the fact that the ski gear is in perfect condition. If this is not the case when you receive your shipment, please let us know immediately and before you start using it.
During the rental period, you as the tenant are responsible for any damage or loss of the rental item during the rental period that goes beyond normal wear and tear. Normal signs of usage are removable stains or slight scratches. In the event of major damage beyond these normal signs of use, you will be responsible for the cost of repair and, in the worst case, replacement of the item. As long as there is no major damage, you do not have to do anything. In case of larger damages (e.g. torn seams, burn holes) please inform us when returning the item at latest. If a repair should become necessary, we will contact you afterwards.
Are the rented items insured? What happens if an item of clothing is lost?
If you rent ski and snowboard clothing from us, it is not insured against damage or theft. If an item is no longer usable and can no longer be repaired, we will charge you the replacement cost for that item. This also applies to lost or stolen items. If you lose one of our items, we will have to replace it as well. Tip: In some cases your liability insurance will cover damage to borrowed items. It's best to ask.
How are the items checked and washed?
The extreme demands of snow and rain require optimal protection by your winter clothing. Therefore we do a professional cleaning and impregnation of the ski clothing after each rental. We take care of the cleaning and care of ski jackets and ski pants and make sure that the functionality and breathability of the inner fabric is not negatively affected by the impregnation. After each rental and after each wash, we check the quality of the garments. You will always receive new or very well-maintained goods from us, which will be professionally cleaned and shipped fully functional.
Can I keep/purchase rented items?
Yes, if you like one of our items, you can decide to buy it during or after the rental. You will even get up to 100 percent of the rental price credited to the purchase price. Try&Buy - just try it!
